There will be a limited amount of space for merchants to sell their arts and crafts at the Tree Man Gathering. Qualified vendor items are didgeridoos, hand drums, percussion items, and other indigenous world music instruments. Also appropriate for sale are handcrafted clothing, jewelry, and other art items such as pottery, paintings, etc. No commercial merchandise please.
Merchant approval deadline is July 1, 2010.
Selling items of any kind without prior approval is strictly prohibited. All merchants must complete an application and receive approval before obtaining their vendor space.
Every vendor MUST have a New York State Tax ID Number and collect and pay his or her own sales tax. You may apply online for permitting and licensing. Tax information for the State of New York is available from the NYS Department of Taxation and Finance.

Merchants must have a Certificate of Insurance. Insurance will be the sole responsibility of the merchant as there is no event insurance to cover merchants or their property. Tree Man Gathering will not be responsible for any damage to property, loss of property, or financial loss.
Treman State Park must approve all vendors. There will be a $25 application fee. Please contact the Park Office at (607) 272-3340 for more information on their requirements.
In order to encourage vendor participation, there will be no additional merchant fees for the Tree Man Gathering. Camping is NOT included. You will NOT be able to camp at your booth.
